Disgusting-but-it-works gargle

My husband cannot stand that I gargle. He laughs at me as he hears the noise EVERY SINGLE TIME. As someone who is prone to a sore throat, gargling is a part of my daily routine. Often it’s just super hot salt water. But when I am feeling extra scratchy in my throat, or if I suspect some tonsillitis, I get on it more aggressively. Welcome, the “disgusting-but-it-works” gargle. Do this AT LEAST once a day at the onset of any sore throat symptoms. MAKES ONE “serving”

You will need:

1 clove of garlic

1 tbsp of honey

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

A sprinkle of cayenne

How to make:

Get out a small cup. Chop the garlic finely, or press it right into the cup. Add honey, ACV and a sprinkle of cayenne. Take a spoon and place it in the back of your throat. I leave it on there for a few moments and then either spit it out, or swallow it. *IF YOU HAVE A SENSITIVE TUMMY, DO NOT SWALLOW* It will feel uncomfortable on your throat if it is sore/raw, but it should do the trick.
